Dear Future Client,
There are many reasons you might have landed here. You may have a history of depression or anxiety, struggle with an eating disorder, long for intimate partner, or you may wonder about your identity, have endured a significant loss or miscarriage, maybe you’re struggling to get pregnant or you can’t stop feeling stuck in your life and you’re desperate to make change.
It’s all welcome here. You’re welcome here.
Together we will explore how you interpret the world, the ways you move from one emotional state to another, and what really lies underneath stuck patterns. I’m looking forward to this time together where you’ll get to know yourself and I’ll accompany you on your journey of self discovery.
A few therapy styles that guide my work are poly-vagal theory, somatic experiencing/trauma informed therapy, attachment theory, Hakomi, mindfulness practices, guided imagery, inner relationship focusing and of course a lot of heartfelt warmth and friendliness. I’m hoping over time you start to notice healthier boundaries in relationships, improved communication skills, more space to feel the sensations and emotions that arise in your body, and the ability to feel more ease in the small moments day to day.
Deciding to start therapy can be hard, but finding someone who helps you feel safe will enable you to make the changes you’re craving. I am here to support you and I have loved working with people in a therapeutic capacity for most of my adult life.
I am married to a native Montanan and we moved from San Francisco to Bozeman in 2015. We have two vibrant sons, a crazy hunting dog, an orange tabby cat, a striking leopard gecko and a house full of indoor plants.
Professionally, I received my bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College in 2002. I went on to study Integral Counseling Psychology (ICP) at the California Institute of Integral Studies, graduating in 2008. I finished the Hakomi pro skills training in 2011 and I got my Somatic Experiencing practitioner’s license (SEP) in 2020. More recently I started welcoming couples into my practice and I completed the second year of the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) training in 2025. In addition to counseling individuals and couples I also offer supervision to professional counselor licensure candidates (PCLC). Finally, I continue to support maternal mental health by offering a seasonal workshop called Mindful Mamas through Roots Family Collaborative.
It’s so nice to meet you. I’m so glad our paths have crossed.
Fondly,
Lexi
