Dear Future Client,

Welcome! I know reaching out for therapy is no small step – it takes courage to explore the parts of life that feel heavy, confusing, or stuck. Whatever it is that brought you here, I’m so excited to support you as you take this meaningful step toward healing and growth.

I take a holistic approach to therapy, viewing each client as a whole person. I believe that every part of our lives is interconnected, and lasting healing comes from understanding how our experiences, internal patterns, and relationships shape one another. I promise to see the whole you.

I draw on several approaches to guide my work, including somatic therapy, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Clients tend to come to me for a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, self esteem, body image, and trauma.

I am especially passionate about working with perinatal mental health and love supporting women in every part of their journey. It’s incredibly important to me to make this support accessible to all moms – especially those living in rural areas or balancing the many demands of motherhood that can make it hard to come into the office. That’s why I also offer telehealth: it allows moms to receive care without adding more stress. You can show up as you are, in your own space, with no need to pack a diaper bag or plan around nap time.

As the Whitefish location of Anam Cara MT, I offer in-person sessions to clients in and around the Flathead Valley. Through telehealth, I’m also able to support clients anywhere in the state of Montana. I love being able to offer both options so therapy can feel accessible, flexible, and truly supportive – no matter where you are.

A little about me: I received my bachelor’s degree from UCLA and was on the track to physical therapy school. While I was always interested in the body, I found myself especially drawn to the one-on one-connection with the client who, most of the time, was navigating a challenging period of drastic change. I found that a lot of my clients needed a space to talk and heal as much as they needed exercises to heal their physical body, and I loved providing space for them to tell their story. This brought me to earning my Masters in Counseling from Northwestern University and now pursuing licensure under the supervision of Lexi Newhall.

In my free time, I love getting outdoors as much as possible to walk, hike, ski, and play sports. When I’m not out moving my body, you can find me on the couch watching a movie with my husband and my pug, Milo :).

I am currently accepting new clients and am available to see both individuals and couples.

I look forward to meeting you!

Maddie
